Seventy is a luxurious home designed for a couple stepping into a well-earned, quieter chapter of life — a calm retreat after decades of perseverance, built with deep trust and even deeper intention. From our very first meeting, conversations flowed like stories — unfiltered, honest, and layered with resilience, sacrifice, and the kind of friendship that anchors a family.

Their openness gave us the space to shape a home that felt true to who they are. Inspired by Japanese sensibilities of calm, order, and grace, we paired minimalism with a softness rooted in Indian craft. The result is a gentle, monochromatic home — warm, grounded, and full of small triumphs.

But behind the stillness was a journey of thoughtful experimentation. From hand-carved stone basins by local craftsmen to marble partitions that glow as built-in light fixtures, every detail pushed the boundaries of craft. A fabric light on a curved column, countless trials to match the entrance wall’s tone, and ceramic decor handcrafted in our studio — all came to life through detailed drawings, persistent site visits, and challenging (but deeply rewarding) conversations with the on-site team.

What looks effortless today was anything but. And that’s what makes it unforgettable — a home built slowly, lovingly, and exactly for the users.
